Recently, I have had an unusual amount of tree frogs,toads, lizards, birds, and bugs around my house which inspire me to paint!

I tried a new technique with this image. The piece of wood I painted it on was heavily textured using layered and torn pieces of paper, sealed with gesso. It gives the overall painting a very "aged" appearance.
